Grade Control

In a grade control environment, our crews work safely while interacting with other mining equipment, they understand the importance of providing the best sample possible. What is Reverse Circulation (RC) Drilling?

Reverse Circulation (RC) is a method of drilling which steadily and consistently transports rock cuttings to the surface. Ideal for the Australian mining industry, it’s an alternative to other popular drilling methods such as diamond drilling and rotary air blast drilling.

Reverse Circulation (RC) is chosen by mining companies as it offers better value, speed, and accuracy when compared to other methods of drilling when mineral sampling. If you are new here is a helpful introductory guide to reverse circulation drilling.

Castle Drilling Company crews are focused on ‘delivering quality RC sample, safely’. And know what is required of us so Geologists can model a JORC compliant resource.

Mark CarderChief Geologist

“I worked with Matt and his drilling company for approximately two years and found his professionalism and diligence outstanding. He was proactive in all matters including safety and production, and was always willing to assist or provide solutions. I recommend Matt highly and look forward to working with him again in the future.”

Margaret LeClercExperienced Geologist

“In past four years, Castle Drilling met environmental regulation compliance across various operations and conditions, which has resulted in many successful drilling operations across our project.
